Hello! My name is Ella Louise Khan. I am an aspiring storyteller currently attending a renowned art college in Los Angeles. Born into a family of artists surrounded by art and music, creativity was my constant companion. Dad owned an old Preston Blair animation book that inspired me at age 5 to persue a career in animation and story-telling. I referenced it constantly and by age 7, I was telling visual narratives. I wrote a comic book series resembeling the original Archie comics of the 1940's era to share with friends. I liked their charm and witty sense of humor. By the time I attended high school, I had binders full of original stories. I enrolled in animation class and joined an after-school animation program in my senior year. There I met some fellow artists. After class ended, we stayed late into the night discussing our favorite Looney Tunes cartoons, watching movies, and sketching together. I have grown considerably as a professional artist and had the opportunity to develop my own story concepts. I was selected by my peers to direct and produce an original short film called "Zonkey" with a team of talented artists. The experience gave me the chance to converse with studio professionals in the industry. I value the growth and welcome any opportunity to expand my knowledge in the field. Thank you for your interest! |
